Current Status

I am currently undertaking a PGCE teacher training course that will end in the summer of 2012. My speciality subject is chemistry with science. I am now seeking to secure a teaching post for September in which I can complete my NQT year, and am willing to relocate anywhere in the UK for the right job and the right school. I am ambitious and motivated and therefore seeking an opportunity that is challenging and allows my professional development to excel.

Next steps...

At the centre of my ambition is success. I have a great desire to succeed in life, and in the field of teaching, this is both self-development and the impact I have on pupils' learning. Continual professional development of myself will lead to improved qualtiy of learning of pupils. My goals are limitless, since there is no end point to the pedagodgy of teaching and so, this journey on which I am embarking is both exciting but terrifying at the same time.

Interests

In the little spare time that I now have, I find nothing more enjoyable or refreshing than going rock climbing and surfing. Both sports bring different challenges and with both, you are at the mercy of nature. I am a member of numerous climbing clubs, and manage to climb or surf at least once a week. My next pursuit is kite boarding; a sport more demanding and adrenaline packed than surfing.
